    For over 50 years, DCCCA has provided social and community services that have improved the safety, health, and well-being of those we serve. Our mission is carried out by all of our programs: Behavioral Health, Child Placing Agency, Family Preservation Services, Prevention, Traffic Safety, Operations, and Quality Improvement. Our values are lived out by these programs coming together to improve the lives of those we serve, both internally and externally.

    The Department of Human Resources is a strategic business partner to all agency programs. Its purpose is to support employees in achieving DCCCA’s overall mission of improving lives. The Director of Human Resources must first understand the agency’s mission and goals and then engage in initiatives and activities in a manner in which those goals are supported. To that end, the Director of Human Resources serves a vital role within the agency. Specifically, the Director of Human Resources will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and members of the Human Resources (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of DCCCA’s recruiting, staffing, organizational development, performance management, training, compensation, and benefits administration functions. Successful candidates are strategically minded, while operating in a cooperative and collaborative manner and expressing eagerness to help carry out day-to-day work as needed.
